Cognition needed a presentation system for its company offsite that could support multiple presenters, executive decks, and breakout sessions while keeping the experience consistent across the event. I designed a flexible visual system and reusable slide components that could adapt to different types of content, from executive messaging to complex information.

The system needed to work just as well for a simple opening slide as it did for detailed company updates and key metrics. Reusable layouts gave presenters a starting point for common slide types while still leaving room to adapt the design around the content.

Making complex information easier to follow

Some slides needed more than a reusable layout. Dense information was reorganized to create a clearer hierarchy, while complex ideas were turned into visual explanations that made the main point easier to understand. The design changed based on what the information needed to communicate.

The final result

The finished system gave Cognition a flexible foundation for the full offsite, from high-level storytelling to detailed company information. The result was one cohesive presentation experience that could adapt to what each moment required.
